1. CRACOW ROUTEWawel - Skałka - Norbertine Convent - Wawel This route goes down the main Vistula bed. The route starts along Czerwiński Boulevard. From here you can see the Wawel Castle - a former seat of Polish monarchs. Further, down the river you can admire Skałka Hill with a church and a Paulite Monastery. Then te route leads past Wołyński Boulevard and Poleski Boulevard, ang goes under Dębnicki Bridge. Finally, having passed Rodła Boulevard, you can admire Norbertine Convent, wchich looks marvelous from this part of Vistula. At the Norbertine Convent the boat turn back to the Wawel Hill Approximate lenght of the trip: 30 minutes. 2. TYNIEC ROUTEWawel - Tyniec - Wawel The route goes down the Vistula bed up to the Benedictine Abbey in Tyniec, where 30 monks live today. In this unusual place, where the atmosphere of an old abbey can still be felt, you can listen to the Gregorian Chorales sung by the monks. The Benedictine terraced gardens, whose shape has remained unchanges since the 16th century, also look magnificently and are definitely worth seeing. During the trip the boat has to pass rapids, and crossing a flood - gate makes an additional attraction for tourists. Approximate lenght of the trip, including visit in the monastery in Tyniec: 3-4 hours. |
